Description of the institution: Jailkhana Maur in Sadar upazila of Kushtia district is located on the east side of Government Women's College and on the west side of Government Central College.

Objectives: To achieve socio-economic development through production, distribution, training and motivation of farmers / cultivators of horticultural crops and planting of fruit, forest and medicinal saplings.

Total amount of land and use (per hectare): 0.006 hectare

Since its inception, the Horticulture Center, Jail Road, Kushtia has been selling seeds of various fruits, vegetables, forestry, medicinal plants, spices, flowers, ornamental plants / cuttings and horticultural crops for the development of agriculture and farmers. The seedlings / cuttings / seeds produced by this center are supplied to different districts of the country by meeting the local demand as per the demand and requirement. In addition to selling seedlings / cuttings, the organization also provides advice to farmers on various horticultural crops. As a result, the facilities of this center are easily available to the people and they are able to carry out the agricultural revolution by applying it in agriculture.
